Tip is on the distal attachment of the Superficial MCL

Tip is on the distal attachment of the Superficial MCL. 2 Important features
1. The sMCL has two attachments to the tibia. The more distal attachment is stronger but is often not visualised on the coronal scans because of the FOV.
2. If you cant directly see the distal attachment, clues to it being torn are oedema around the distal most portion of the sMCL or a wavy appearance to the distal sMCL.
